Overview

Education is the foundation of a progressive society, and at the Resilient Club of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology (RCMSIT), we believe in taking action to bridge gaps in learning and infrastructure for underprivileged communities. With this vision, we successfully conducted our flagship event PRABHA: Chapter IV at Kalidaspur Bhim Chandra High School in the remote Sundarbans region.

Our initiative aimed at enhancing education and well-being through sustainable interventions, including hygiene awareness, improved learning resources, and access to clean drinking water.

✅ Menstrual Hygiene Awareness & Sanitation Support

Installed a sanitary pad vending machine to ensure young girls have easy access to menstrual hygiene products.
Provided a stock of sanitary pads to sustain usage for the coming months.
Conducted an awareness session on menstrual hygiene, empowering young girls with knowledge and confidence to manage their health.

✅ Advancing Science Education

Equipped the school’s science laboratory with new scientific apparatus to help students engage in practical learning and experiments, enhancing their understanding of theoretical concepts.

✅ Clean Drinking Water Initiative

Installed a water purifier system to provide students with safe and clean drinking water, reducing the risk of waterborne diseases and promoting better health and hydration.

This initiative was a step towards long-term educational and infrastructural development, ensuring that students receive better learning opportunities and improved health conditions.
